- About SGS is open to all area players and is supported by Sterling Schools Foundation a not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to promote, organize, and conduct a robust 14U travel softball program for skilled players who are interested in a more intense and competitive softball experience. Our goal is to prepare these young ladies to be able to play and compete on their high school varsity teams and beyond. Additionally, we will focus on a positive pursuit of both discipline and good sportsmanship. It is our hope that these principles will continue with each player on and off the diamond, as well as through life.
