About
Kentuckiana Eclipse was founded by Kelly and George Shultz in 2016. It started with two teams and has grown ever since. The goal has been to provide girls, who want to learn the game of softball, a safe and structured environment to do so. At Kentuckiana Eclipse we strive to teach life skills that extend beyond the diamond, such as team work, perseverance, dedication, and loyalty. At Kentuckiana Eclipse we LOVE to win, but we also understand that to be truly successful in life you must also understand how to overcome failure. Softball is more than a game.
In 2018 Kentuckiana Eclipse became an IRS recognized 501c3 non-for-profit organization. We strive to keep player fees as low as possible so that money is not an obstacle for a girl to play. Sponsorships from a business, to help with player fees, are tax deductible.
